Adventures in Hilton Head: Segway Tours

Segway Tours of Hilton Head

Segway of Hilton Head’s Assistant Manager, Justin Neuhart, gives me a demonstration on one of the many Segways in the shop.

Have you ever wanted to glide on the Hilton Head Pathway effortlessly, enjoying the ocean breeze while taking in the gorgeous views? Well, Hilton Head has just added a fun, new way to explore the island just like that. Segway of Hilton Head has arrived and with it several new ways to easily  travel the many beautiful pathways we have here. Segways provide a high-tech, environmentally conscious way to see the island without breaking a sweat. Taking up less space on the paths than a regular bicycle with a cruising speed of 6 mph, Segways are a comfortable way to enjoy the outdoors, especially on a summer day.

Recently, Segway of Hilton Head’s Assistant Manager, Justin Neuhart, showed me the mechanics of how to effortlessly operate a Segway. With a slight lean, I was able to easily propel myself forward and enjoy a smooth ride on one of these amazing machines. Almost as if reading my mind, the Segway responded to my slightest movements quickly, adjusting forward, backward and in circles seamlessly. Battery operated, the Segways are quiet, and actually weigh less than a regular bicycle. Segway tours are a fun outdoor activity that families can enjoy together.

Offering many levels and lengths of Segway tours throughout the day, Segway of Hilton Head can accommodate all your needs for you and your group. They also offer Electric Bike rentals and sales, so even someone with limited mobility can take part in a cruise on our wonderful pathways. Everyone can get in on the fun.
