If you are looking for a quick, casual stop for good Hilton Head sushi, look no further than Fancy Q’s in the Northridge Plaza. In the same area as the movie theatre, this makes a perfect pairing when going out to the movies. Open for both lunch and dinner, it’s an easy place to catch a fast plate of your favorite sushi, plus some very inventive additions.
We stopped in for a late lunch on a Saturday and were seated and served right away. I ordered the Super Dragon Roll and two orders of salmon sushi. There are several different types of dragon rolls, all served with a dragon “head” made with an orange slice with wasabi eyes (see photo). The Super Dragon Roll has 2 pieces of tempura lobster, cucumber and tempura asparagus inside with spicy tuna and avocado on the top. Miso soup and a tempura crab appetizer are served almost immediately and are on the house. Nice!
Open 7 days a week, Fancy Q’s Sushi Bar and Grill has a complete menu of all the Japanese favorites and more sushi rolls than I have ever seen. Although they do not have their own web site, many of the restaurant review sites online have a sample menu. Their address is 435 William Hilton Parkway, corner of Mattews Drive.
